My Advertising Research Methods class has been given our client for the semester: The United Nations Foundation. I will be learning how to properly utilize Qualtrics, SPSS, Eye Tracking, and how to effectively create surveys in order to find out if the name United Nations Foundation hinders this organizations ability to complete projects throughout the world.
Fight2Win is a charity focusing on Hodgkin's Lymphoma. DRAFT FCB has hired the BYU AdLab to create a 360 campaign for Fight2Win. I am the Account Manager over a six person team and our team has generated over 70% of the total ideas for the entire group. This project is still in the conception stage.
Simply Mac needed a two stage campaign. The first was a Black Friday web-based campaign. I worked as Account Manager over a team of 5 to concept a pre-roll ad in 24 hours that would attract Black Friday shoppers to Simply Mac stores. In the second phase I co-wrote a YouTube video that is meant to raise awareness about Simply Mac's Smart Trade. This video is currently in production.
Account Manager and Copywriter for a Shareable YouTube Commercial Sweat Block is a new anit-sweat product that has been featured on Rachel Ray. They came to the BYU AdLab to create a shareable YouTube video that would entertain and educate viewers about the product. I led a team of three people in concepting copy writing, and story boarding the idea of Sven the Scientist. Out of 6 ideas Sven was one of two ideas selected to be produced.
The BYU AdLab was hired by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to provide copy for their new mission website. Now every mission has its own description, pictures, and stories from previous missionaries in that area. I wrote three entries for the website and all three were published.
Orkin Pest Control was in need of an internal campaign to boost employee morale. I was an Account Manager over two graphic designers and one copy writer. Orkin representatives were very responsive to our poster ideas and posters were quickly distributed to Orkin offices across the nation.
